Marques' Almeida's new collection ReM'Ade is created from excess material from previous seasons. Each piece is unique and exquisitely made. On a personal note, I chuckle at this as I think back to how many times I created side collections of "promo" items from excess fabric. What was once a dirty secret, is now an environmental marketing tool and a chance to create something of desire, not discard.
