Bisa Butler creates her beautifully vibrant portraits from textiles! 🍋 🧡 This trained artist worked primarily paint, but when pregnant with her first child, the fumes made her sick and she worried about the toxins. She switched her medium to fabric and began quilting her pieces instead. The results are amazing! She has exhibited at the Smithsonian Museum of American History, the Epcot Center, the Art Institute of Chicago, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, and more. Link in bio to hear more!⁠
