Bolt Threads + Stella McCartney
A dress made of spider webs? Not exactly. But it is made of a biomaterial MicroSilk by Bolt Threads, developed by researching and replicating spider silk. They teamed up with sustainability leader Stella McCartney in 2017 to create this shift dress for the @themuseumofmodernart exhibit "Items: Is Fashion Modern?"
