The data is clear and our children deserve more. Ever since Uvalde, I have become more involved with advocacy to end gun violence. It is unforgivable that our lawmakers choose to line their pocketbooks instead of protecting our children. The US has a gun homicide rate 26 times that of other high-income countries, and a gun suicide rate nearly 12 times that of other high-income countries. ⁠
