Drawing Technique for Clothing Design 1
In this 4-week course, aspiring fashion designers will learn industry terminology along with tips and tricks for garment rendering using a variety of sketching techniques. Each week, we will focus on a new item or detail including dart and seam placement, necklines, sleeves, skirts, and dresses. We will be sketching primarily with pencil and paper, but adding color is always encouraged! While we learn how to draw clothes, we will also learn the importance of understanding garment construction when sketching and designing (a necessary skill for all designers!)
This class runs on Tuesdays; August 30th, September 6th, September 13th and September 20th.
